Sabbaticals and Other Leave

Sabbatical Leave
- Application for a Regular Sabbatical – Due the first Monday of September of the application year.
- Sabbatical Report - All Arts & Sciences faculty returning from sabbatical leave must submit a report documenting their research activities. Faculty should submit a 2-3 page (single-spaced) report outlining their original goals and discussing their accomplishments and/or project outcomes during the sabbatical period.
- Enhanced Sabbatical Application
- Enhanced Sabbatical Compensation Policy - Note: This document predates the Sabbatical Fellows Pilot Program, and should only be used when referring to enhanced sabbaticals.
Sabbatical Deferral or Postponement Request
- If you are requesting a sabbatical deferral or postponement of an approved sabbatical, please submit the Sabbatical Deferral or Postponement of Approved Sabbatical Request Form.
Mid-Course Leave or Request for Research Leave
- If you are expected to be on mid-course leave, requesting research leave with or without funding, please submit the Faculty One Semester Mid-Course Leave Information / Request for Research Leave Form.
- Please note that a semester leave should be taken in your 2-unit semester unless otherwise approved by the dean.
