Faculty Governance

Faculty play an important role in running the School of Arts & Sciences through their participation in faculty meetings, on Academic Council and Dean's Advisory Council, and on various committees. In addition, department chairs and program coordinators work to ensure smooth operation of individual campus units. The duties of faculty members are outlined in the faculty governance documents, and the faculty handbook, both available on the Faculty Senate website.
