Changes to Course Numbers or Titles

If the change being proposed is only a number or title change with no substantial revision to the course itself, you do not need to submit a new course proposal form.

For a course number change, please first check with the Registrar’s office to make sure that the new number is available for use.

Once you have completed that step, send a written statement of the change, the rationale, and date of departmental endorsement to Associate Dean Sharon Feldman for inclusion in the Academic Council agenda.
